This product forms part of the Skin Clays #upliftment and #jobcreation project. We support women who have not specific skill or education, teach them to crochet, using specific ‘templets’ and provide all they need to make the Skin Clays Bamboo Product.
We then purchase the finished goods back from them, enabling them to work from home, have no expense and earn a living from their labour.
Skin Clays Bamboo Products are handmade as part of a 'women empowerment project.
By teaching these women a skill, providing them with the tools, yarn and know-how, to produce the beautifully bamboo range, they are able to start their own little business, earn an income and take care of their own household, while working from home.
